Here's some of my favorite Scripture verses to brighten up your Sunday!

¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. ¹⁶ In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 

(Matthew 5:14-16)

¹² Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 

(1st Timothy 4:12-my favorite verse!)

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.

    And what does the Lord require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy

    and to walk humbly^[a] with your God. 

(Micah 6:8)

Today's Epistle reading, if you want to check it out, was Galatians 6:11-18. The Gospel reading for today is Luke 16:19-31.
